About Us

Our mission at Southwest Florida Speech Therapy is to provide professional and personalized speech-language therapy services, for children of all ages, using evidence based practice to achieve the highest potential and optimal functioning for each individual in their environment. Parent and teacher education, support and collaboration are considered vital. We believe parents, caregivers and professionals are an integral part of intervention allowing for gains from the private speech therapy settings to natural communication environments such as home, school, and community.  We focus on the needs of each client in an individualized and family centered manner and are committed to delivering superior services in a nurturing and loving manner.

Speech therapy services are provided in a one-on-one therapy setting as well as in some school settings or in peer groups when appropriate.  Therapy is preformed where the client and the therapist can bond to create the ideal learning environment. Where the parents and the therapist can communicate about the needs of their child and the progress they are making. We feel consistency in the therapy and in the therapist is of utmost importance.

Our therapists are nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). They are also licensed by the state in which we provide services. A Speech-Language Pathology degree requires not only an under graduate degree but a Masters of Science Degree as well.

Our therapists have over 20 years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology. They have experience working in a variety of clinical and educational settings including early intervention, public and private schools, pre-schools, hospitals, and out-patient rehab settings.
